Since 2000, the Mon student youths migrated dramatically into the United Kingdom. The leading five members of Mon youths organized some few Mon generation and celebrated the 55th anniversary of Mon National Day in London for the first time in 2002. Since then, the Mon society represented UK was founded accordingly.

In the world, it is claimed that there are around eight millions of Mon decentres according to Wikipedia. Our Mon generation dominated in an ancient culture, Buddhism customs and any offspring of the spiritual customs. The generation of Mon Society United Kingdom seeks to commit that we are aware of any counter-culturalism as well as social features such as educational standard of Mon identity.

Our objectives is to establish a substantial community which support a strong-hold culture and education in our ethnic homeland. While maintaining and preserve our Mon Culture, we also try to promote in educational level into a perfect living standard, fighting poverty in homeland, and protect our human rights and democracy.

We are committed to be a liberal and socialised community and also welcome members from different ethnic backgrounds.
